We’re thrilled to share the successful inauguration of the Adugodi Dry Waste Collection Centre (DWCC) – Govt-owned Bengaluru’s first modern semi-automated DWCC!
The inauguration on 15th October 2025 was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Ramalinga Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of Muzrai, Government of Karnataka, along with Shri Kari Gowda, IAS, CEO, Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited (BSWML), Shri Ramesh KN, IAS, Commissioner, Bengaluru South City Corporation, Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA), Shri Jacob Peter. Vice President, Bosch Global Software Technologies and Shilpa Deodhar, CSR Head, BGSW.
This state-of-the-art facility features: > Processing capacity: 4 tons/day FI Built-up area:
3,600 sq. ft 5+ advanced waste management equipment
On 19th October 2025, the Deputy Chief Minister (DCM) of Karnataka, Shri DK SHIVAKUMAR. visited the centre and appreciated the advanced infrastructure and collaboration between stakeholders, reaffirming the importance of replicating such models across Bengaluru.
With the successful completion of Phase 1, we now look forward to Phase 2, where we aim to make the centre financiallv self-sustainable by empowering the DWCC operator/ entrepreneur – creating livelihoods, promoting a circular economy, and strengthening Bengaluru’s waste management ecosystem.
